Nestled in Warangal District in Telangana, Eturnagaram Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the oldest wildlife sanctuaries in Telangana. The sanctuary is spread across an area of 806 square kilometers, offering scenic views of the beauty of the nature to the tourists. The sanctuary comprises of low hills on the banks of the River Godavari. Flora and Fauna of the sanctuary
The flora of the sanctuary comprises of Riverine Forest as well as Dry Deciduous Teak Forest with trees such as Buchanania, Pterocarpus, Bamboo and Anogeissus. The fauna of the sanctuary include a diverse variety of animals such as black buck, barking deer, wild boar, tiger, wolf, jungle cat, jackal, panther and many more. It also features with a number of reptiles such as cobra, crocodiles, and python.
