Kataki waterfall is a beautiful scenic spot ideal for nature lovers. The waterfall is so called because of its location in Kataki. It falls from a height of 50 feet in Araku Valley and is quite close to Borra Caves. The waterfall is visible from tunnel no. 44 between Borra caves and Kasalka railway stations. Those who wish to reach the base of the Kataki fall will have to trek a stiff climbing. Steps are constructed for safe climbing and avoiding any mishap. You can also take a bath once you reach the base of the fall. The place will mesmerise the nature lovers and compel them to come back again. Do not forget to relish the Bamboo chicken dish which is the specialty of the place.
You can either opt to come by road or by rail. Vizag is almost 90 kilometres from Kataki Waterfall and can be driven around in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take the train and alight at the Kasalaka Railway station and take a bus to the waterfall.
