Located 1 kilometres from Srikakulam District in Andhra Pradesh, Arasavilli is a village which is renowned for its famous Sun God Temple. The deity in the temple is of Suryanarayana Swamy who is known to be as the Sun God. It is believed that the origin of the temple dates back to the 7th Century AD by Kalinga ruler Devendra Varma. The temple features among the two temples which are dedicated to the Sun God. The architecture of the temple reflects the architectural glory of the Kalinga Dynasty.
